HOW TO ENTER: The submission period begins at 5 AM PST on September 8, 2009 and ends at 11:59PM PST on September 18, 2009 (“Contest Entry Period”). She is a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Mix and the joy of our house!” The winner will be selected by random drawing following the Contest Entry Period. By entering the Contest, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Burns Studio Publishing, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. The winner will be notified by a reply via means of entry (Twitter, Facebook, or email). 2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older at time of entry. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. 3. PRIZE: PRIZE: One (1) personally drawn sketch of your pet by Ron Burns (approximate value is $10,000. The sketch has no cash value because it cannot be resold per contest rules). Winner will be asked to submit photos of the one pet they would like to be featured. Artist Ron Burns has creative freedom in reference to composition, color, etc. Winner will receive an electronic, pre-sized copy to use as your Twitter Avatar or Facebook profile photo, and the signed original sketch will be sent to winner via U.S. Mail |
5. INTERNET: Burns Studio Publishing, its affiliates, partners, and vendors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, or delayed computer transmissions which may limit ability to enter the Contest, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Contest. If for any reason the Internet entry of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Burns Studio Publishing reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. In such event, Burns Studio Publishing reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. 7. ADDITIONAL TERMS: Any potential winner may be requested to provide Burns Studio Publishing with proof that such winner is a United States resident and was at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Any automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are prohibited. Burns Studio Publishing reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion (a) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest; and/or (b) to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole and absolute discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest. Burns Studio Publishing may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning if, in its sole and absolute discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants, Burns Studio Publishing or users of Twitter and Facebook.
