For almost 20 years, Ron Burns has dedicated his personal and professional life to helping lost, abandoned, and lonely animals find loving furever homes.  This dedication earned him the title of Artist-in-Residence for The Humane Society of the United States, and won him a place in peoples’ hearts as “America’s Favorite Animal Artist.”

With a slew of media credits (e.g. Good Morning America, Extreme Makeover – Home Edition, FOX news, CNN, TIME Magazine, Forbes, The New York Daily News, San Francisco Chronicle, AOL, and Pets911), Ron has raised awareness and become a voice for animal causes from spay/neuter initiatives to pet overpopulation.  As a constant philanthropist, Ron donates his time, talents, and artwork to various animal welfare organizations across the country and tirelessly works to develop programs to help not-for-profits raise money through his artwork.

Ron begins each animal portrait with the eyes, because as he says, "Their eyes hold nothing back, whether it's love or fear, heartbreak or admiration. Every portrait begins with the eyes, they have to because from there all the life and personality radiates outward.”  Ron’s artwork is followed and collected by animal lovers, art enthusiasts, businesses, and celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Rivers, Tony LaRussa, and Doc Severinsen.
